Slow cooker roast

Before cooking

After cooking - cutting the meat. lovely lot of juice still in cooker, to be spooned over meat, with carrots and celery and mushrooms and herbs in it.

Had an unusual Sunday evening, where family biblestudy wasn't on, so decided to take on a slow cooker roast (rather than a casserole, which has rather hit the argument list for dinners these days).
What an eye opener!! Tasted fantastic, kids ate it (eventually, with tomato sauce...) and had fresh veggies on the side. We think we'll get two meals out of it.
