Excess wrapping

I have previously commented on how pre-wrapped lots of stuff is, which hugely increases the amount of packaging I simply chuck, as it is not recyclable, nor reusable.
Here are some chicken breast fillets, all pre-sealed before being put in the bag they're sold in. It has the advantage that you can buy them bulk (8 in a bag) but the disadvantage of the extra wrapping on every single cut.
